Richard Lee Petty, also known as "the King", is a legend in the world of stock car racing.  He completed in NASCAR for 35 years, from 1958 to 1992, driving the iconic No. 43 car for Petty Enterprises.  He won a record 200 races and seven championships, earning him a place in every major racing hall of fame and the title of one of NASCAR's 50 greatest drivers of all time.  After retiring from racing, Petty continued his passion for cars by transforming Petty Enterprises into Petty's Garage in 2008.  Petty's Garage is a performance shop that specializes in parts, restorations, and custom builds for car enthusiasts around the world.  It is located on the historical site of Petty Enterprises in Level Cross, N.C., where the Petty family first started their racing legacy.  It has state-of-the-art equipment and personnel who have decades of experience.  It also has over 80 vendors approved by Petty himself to customize your automotive needs.  Petty's Garage is a testament to the dedication and passion of the Petty family for speed and excellence.
